WINDSURFING
Windsurfing is an incredibly fun board sport that you can do in 2 MPH up to 50 MPH wind. Windsurfing is a wind-propelled water sport that is a combination of sailing and surfing.
You start on a large board with a small sail attached that you hold with a rig attached to it so you can
As you progress, there are endless skills to learn (and fun tricks!) and different types of gear to try.
Experience the joy of being ON the water (and in it!) and learning to harness the wind. At ABK, we teach all levels of Windsurfing from a never-ever to a professional caliber racer, freestyler, or wave sailor.

WINDFOILING
Windfoiling is windsurfing with a foil attached to the underside of the board that is popular in lighter winds. You need to know how to windsurf to windfoil, but not at a very high level.
-
A foil is a fin-like structure that lifts the board and allows it to plane above the water surface (called foiling or hydrofoiling)
-
The sail size can be much smaller than normal
-
Coasts through the lulls in the wind and down waves with ease
-
Smooth flight and not as much work as finning
-
If Windsurfing is more “motocross,” then windfoiling is more like “ballet” as a fitness sport.
-
No waterstart or footstraps skills required
-
Harness is debatable but can be learned on windfoil .

WINGFOILING
Wingfoiling is riding a board with a foil and holding an inflatable wing in your hands above your head. The wind supplies the balance and the power to get moving. You do not need to have any other boardsports background (including Windsurfing) to learn windfoil.

It’s very smooth and quiet

The speed is related to the size and shape of the foil you are on

The equipment is light and easy to assemble
-
Can “fly” in lesser winds because of the foil
